A team from the Green Balkans Rescue Center and representatives of the  "Life for Lesser Kestrel" LIFE19 NAT/BG/001017 project visited the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Istanbul, Turkey, which is also responsible for the management of the national parks in the area.

During the visit to the colleagues, various environmental protection topics were discussed, as well as some future cooperation plans.
We also presented the work of our organization in general, highlighting the activities of the Rescue Center for Wild Animals and the project "Life for Lesser Kestrel" LIFE19 NAT/BG/001017, funded by the LIFE program of the European Union.

The program of our guest visit also included a field visit, where our team got to know, in parts, the rich natural heritage and biological diversity of the region. We also observed several protected species.

Our visit was in response to a visit of our Turkish colleagues to the Green Balkans  Rescue Center at the beginning of April this year.

Thank you for the warm welcome and we look forward to future joint activities.
