Recently, part of the 'Life for Lesser Kestrel' LIFE19 NAT/BG/001017 project team and volunteers returned from Turkey, where they were guests at an initiative dedicated to the European Green Belt Day.

The initiative, organized by our colleagues from the Association of Back to Nature Youth and Sports Club, was organized in the Turkish part of Strandzha Mountain, one of the places of the European Green Belt, and dedicated to the promotion of these corners of wildlife left untouched by man.

Within two days, participants from both neighboring countries learned more about the Lesser Kestrel - a species emblematic of the Green Belt, gained basic knowledge to help endangered wildlife, visited historical and natural sites in the area.

The moments spent together, in which the young people could exchange experience, knowledge, impressions, and contacts were priceless.
