Project "Life for Lesser Kestrel" LIFE19 NAT/BG/001017 is a guest at the awards of the GREEN journalism competition "Wild Chestnut"

Aug. 10, 2022
The third GREEN journalism awards in a row, organized by our colleagues from the "Natura 2000 in Bulgaria - NEW HORIZONS" project of Green Balkans, took place a few days ago.

We had the pleasure of being part of this unique celebration, which brought together over 40 representatives of various regional and national media from the country.

Before the official ceremony of awarding the winners, we had the opportunity to make a presentation of the "Life for Lesser Kestrel" LIFE19 NAT/BG/001017 project activities, funded by the EU LIFE program.

The last part was devoted to advice and recommendations on how the media can more successfully present our work to their viewers and readers. We have provided some advice and guidance as well as examples of good practice in project coverage and conservation activities in general. We have also indicated various positive, examples from our archive.

We thank the organizers of the event for the invitation and the participants for their attention to our activity.
Working with the media is the focus of our project activities, as they are the very important link between our work and people.
