Balkans within the framework of project ‘’LIFE for Lesser Kestrel’’ LIFE19 NAT/BG/001017, implemented by programme LIFE of the EU.
In the ”Patevata maaza” part of the "Old Karlovo" architectural tourist complex, where the exhibition was presented, the kids learned more details about the Lesser Kestrel, the Imperial Eagle and other rare and endangered birds.
These protected species are characteristic of the protected area "Sredna Gora", part of the European ecological network NATURA 2000 and of National Park ‘’Central Balkan’’. The exhibition is getting popular among children and teachers from the city - earlier this month the students from 8th grade, a total of over 120 children from the same school, attended the event.
Guests and residents of the city are able to get familiar with the Exhibition until the end of June.
