At a ceremony specially organized by Trakia University, dedicated to the annual awards for outstanding students of the university for 2022, the team of the project "Life for Lesser kestrel" LIFE19 NAT/BG/001017 awarded five students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the university.
The students are the most active volunteers of the Rescue Center, participating in various actions both in the clinic and in the field throughout the past year. They were also part of the "Nature" Academy initiative of the "Life for Lesser Kestrel" project, which aims to identify and support students with special interests in the field of environmental protection and related activities
By giving their time and energy to help wounded wildlife, these young people set an example for dozens of others, showing them the way of volunteering and the positives in a professional and purely human direction that it brings with it.
