On 6th November, 2020, on Friday is going to be conducted an International On-line International Scientific Conference on Restoration of Conservation-Reliant Species and Habitats, where we Green Balkans are co-organizers.
The even is the first one of its kind in the country and it is a continuation of the First National Conference on the Reintroduction of Conservation-Reliant Species, happened in 2015.
The New International Conference aims to consentrate the social and the academic attention on the crises from the loss of the wild nature and the efforts of lots of nature conservation organizations for the reintroduction of species and habitats with a conservation meaning.
The Conference, whose organizer is the Biological Faculty at University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski”it is going to include on-line guest plain-air lectures and posters, showing the results from reintroduction projects in Bulgaria and from other countries and co-organizer apart from Green Balkans are our colleagues from the Fund for the Wild Flora and Fauna - FWFF-Bulgaria.
The team of Green Balkans is going to share their work upon three projects – Life for Lesser Kestrel LIFE19 NAT/BG/001017, Reintroduction of Saker Falcon (Falco cherrug) and Bright future for Black Vulture LIFE14 NAT/BG/649.
It is also provided lots of parallel events and media coverage, as well as some exhibitions of Bulgarian wildlife artists in a partnership with the Society of Animalists, Florists and Scientific illustrators (SAFSI).
