Presenting the project “Life for Lesser Kestrel” on series of events

From the beginning of October, team of the project “Life for Lesser Kestrel” LIFE19 NAT/BG/001017, implemented by Green Balkans and financed by programme Life of the EU presented the project in front of participants and guests of six events.
Among them are the Stara Zagora edition of the festival “Hello Health”, the national veterinary medical exhibition “BulVetMedica”, the international conference for the Saker falcon, organized in Stara Zagora within the project “Life for falcons”, in which Green Balkans are partners, the meeting under the program “Erasmus”, organized by our colleges and partners from the Trakia university, the first of its kind “Conference for innovation in the education – science without experimental animals”, was held in Sofia, and one introduction to the students from ES “Bratya Miladinovi”, Eleshnica.
In front of all those present at the various of meetings, the team told us about the Lesser Kestrel, about the efforts of Green Balkans to restore her in Bulgaria, the successes, which they accomplished, thanks to the whole team, volunteers and supporters, but also for the challenges and the tribulations they went through.
We also used the opportunity to present the “Living exhibition” – life sized models and color of animals, inhabiting the Bulgarian part of the “Green belt” - the border territory of the former "Iron curtain".
We also talked about the future activities of the project and invited everyone, who want to join to our efforts to support the still fragile population of the Lesser Kestrel in Bulgaria.
